100% acacia foraged in the hills of Solkan, Slovenia. This excellent medicinal flower has been used for centuries by Eastern European to treat cold, reflux and other stomach problems, but it is a fantastic food ingredient too. We just sprinkle them in pancake batter and voila we have wild pancakes! As kids we grew up sipping out the nectar of the pretty flowers competing with the bees. Our family forages them in the morning, then straight shockfreezes them so that no flavor or aroma can escape, then slowly freeze dry them on temperatures lower than 40Celcius so that mineral and vitamins can stay locked in. This way we can enjoy them all year round :)
We are a family business who forages and freezedries herbs and leaves in the Mediterranean region of Slovenia and Italy. Our favourites are wild rose, robinia, elderflower and bay leaves. Totally wiiiilldd!!
