Skunk cabbage is also used to stimulate the digestive system.

As food, the young leaves, roots, and stalks are boiled and eaten. You can find this in another listing that we offer. Join the waist list.

Roots are sold by the whole rhizomes system.

Root systems range in size.

HARVESTING & DRYING PROCESS:

After harvesting, the roots are washed in cold water and foreign material ( rocks, mud, and other roots) is removed by hand as best as possible. The roots are never soaked in water in any attempt to clean them as this extracts vital elements. The roots are then placed to dry in a well-ventilated environment upon racks.
