This sleepy time tea blend is coming to you atraight from the North Woods of Minnesota! Responsibly foraged & harvested ingredients coming together in the perfect evening tea blend.
Here is a little bit about the ingredients:
Wild lavender is widely used as an aromatherapy agent and supplement to help with anxiety, depression, and fatigue.
The calming effect of lavender in the body is also thought to boost sleep.
Cramping in the lower abdomen before or during a menstrual period is a common issue among women. Lavender may help with feelings of discomfort.
As for the ghost pipe:
It is a good remedy for spasms, fainting spells and various nervous conditions.
It has been recommended in the past as a possible opium substitute.
An infusion of the leaves has been used to treat colds and fevers.
Water extracts (tea) of the plant are bactericidal.
It is supposed to have cured remittent and intermittent fevers, and to be an excellent antiperiodic.
It has been used effectively in treating severe mental and emotional pain due to PTSD and other traumatic injury, as well as severe nerve pain due to Lyme disease.
It is a useful first aid remedy that helps ease pain caused by trauma, tension, migraines, or pinched nerves. It also helps relieve skeletal tension associated with migraines and neck pain, as well as sharp, shooting pains associated with pinched nerves.
Dosage: This can be the tricky part. It is up to the individual taste and what you are using the tea blend for. I recommend starting out fairly diluted at first just to ensure you don't have an allergic reaction to the ingredients. Some people have allergies that they are unaware of, so diluted testing is always recommended.
Each tea bag is enough to flavor an entire kettle! You can expect to get 4-6 cups of tea from each tea bag. Once brewed you can store your tea in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Each order will contain 4 tea bags- that's 16 cups of sleepy time tea! The tea has been crushed to expose the inner oils, and then put into a biodegradable unbleached paper tea bag. I did not tie the bags, they are simply folded in half in case you would like to add anything of your own to the blend.
Something I get asked frequently is "will this get me high?". Your answer, no. When taken in moderation ghost pipe is quite calming.
