Fresh wildcrafted mullein leaves, hand gathered in the hills and countryside of Southern Indiana.
These are FRESH PICKED MULLEIN LEAVES, not dried leaves. They are gathered in small batches and packaged fresh for your order.
Mullein is an unmistakable old-time country plant with large, soft, velvety leaves. It has a long history of traditional use and has been gathered by generations of country folks.
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE
You will receive approximately 2 ounces of fresh wildcrafted mullein leaves.
The leaves are real, naturally grown plants gathered outdoors, so no two orders will look exactly alike. Leaves will vary in size, shape and shade of green.
You may occasionally see a small hole, spot, uneven edge or other natural imperfection. That's normal with a genuine wildcrafted product.
HOW DO YOU USE IT?
Fresh mullein leaves can be used fresh or dried at home for later use.
Mullein has a long history of traditional herbal use and is commonly dried for herbal preparations and botanical uses.
To dry your leaves, spread them loosely in a single layer with good airflow and allow them to dry completely before storing.
Because mullein leaves are naturally covered with very fine hairs, preparations intended for consumption are traditionally strained very thoroughly through a fine filter to remove the tiny hairs.
Please research the proper preparation and suitability of mullein for your particular intended use.
HOW DO YOU STORE IT?
These leaves arrive fresh, so open the package promptly.
For short-term storage, keep them refrigerated and use or begin drying them as soon as possible.
For long-term storage, thoroughly dry the leaves until no moisture remains, then store them in an airtight container in a cool, dark and dry location.

Nuts

A half-pound of fresh hickory nuts, gathered in southern Indiana and left in their natural shells. These are real woodland nuts, with the size, shape, and color variations you’d expect from a wild harvest.

You’ll receive ½ pound by weight. The nuts are unshelled, and the number of nuts will vary. They may have bits of natural husk or staining on the shells. Crack and inspect each nut before using it; as with any wild harvest, some may have little or no usable nutmeat.

Fresh Indiana Hickory Nuts in the Shell | Wild Harvested | ½ Pound

0.5 lb

One full pound of real wild black walnuts (Juglans nigra), harvested in Southern Indiana and offered whole in their natural hard shells.

These are true American black walnuts gathered from mature black walnut trees growing in the Southern Indiana countryside. The outer green hulls have been removed, leaving the whole black walnuts in their naturally hard, deeply textured shells.

Black walnuts are prized for their rich, bold flavor and are very different from the milder English walnuts commonly found in grocery stores.

You will receive approximately 1 pound of whole black walnuts in the shell.

These have NOT been cracked or shelled. The buyer will need to crack the hard shells and remove the nutmeat before eating or using them in recipes.

Black walnut shells are exceptionally hard. A sturdy nutcracker or other tool suitable for black walnuts is recommended.

• 1 pound whole black walnuts
• American black walnut
• Botanical name: Juglans nigra
• Wild-harvested in Southern Indiana
• Outer hulls removed
• Nuts remain in their natural hard shells
• Unshelled and uncracked
• No additives or preservatives
• Small-batch wild harvest
• Packed by 7intheForest

Because these are naturally harvested wild nuts, size, shape, shell color and appearance will vary. Some shells may have natural staining, surface markings or minor imperfections.

This is a genuine wild-harvested product rather than commercially processed English walnuts.

Seeds

resh pawpaw seeds (Asimina triloba) collected from cultivated named-variety pawpaw trees in Southern Indiana.

These seeds come from fruit produced by a mixed planting of quality named pawpaw cultivars, including:

• Sunflower
• Shenandoah
• Susquehanna
• Potomac

The seeds are collected together and mixed, so individual seeds are NOT identified by cultivar. You may receive genetics from any of the named varieties listed above.

IMPORTANT: Pawpaws grown from seed are seedlings and will not necessarily grow true to the exact parent cultivar. Seed-grown trees have their own unique genetics. The named varieties listed describe the parent trees from which the fruit and seeds were collected.

These are fresh 2026 harvest seeds and are handled carefully to prevent them from drying out.

Pawpaw is a native North American fruit tree known botanically as Asimina triloba. Mature trees produce large green fruit with soft, custard-like flesh and a distinctive tropical flavor.

Each order contains the quantity of fresh seeds selected at checkout.

• Fresh 2026 harvest
• Asimina triloba
• Seeds from cultivated named-variety parent trees
• Sunflower, Shenandoah, Susquehanna and Potomac parentage
• Mixed seed lot
• Collected in Southern Indiana
• Kept moist after processing
• Intended for growing pawpaw trees
• No individual cultivar is guaranteed

Pawpaw seeds must remain moist. Allowing them to completely dry out can significantly reduce viability.

Grow your own American pawpaw trees from seeds collected from named, cultivated pawpaw varieties!

You will receive 24 fresh 2026 pawpaw seeds (Asimina triloba) collected from established named pawpaw trees, including:

• Shenandoah
• Susquehanna
• Potomac
• Sunflower

These are NOT seeds collected from wild pawpaw trees.

The seeds were collected from fruit produced by these named cultivated trees. However, the seeds have been mixed together, so we cannot identify which named tree produced any individual seed. Your order will be a random mixture from this collection.

IMPORTANT: Pawpaws grown from seed are seedlings and are not guaranteed to grow true to the named parent cultivar. Cross-pollination and normal genetic variation mean each resulting tree can be unique. The cultivar names above identify the trees from which our seed collection originated, not the guaranteed cultivar of the resulting seedlings.

YOU WILL RECEIVE:

• 24 fresh pawpaw seeds
• 2026 season seed
• From named cultivated pawpaw trees
• Mixed Shenandoah, Susquehanna, Potomac & Sunflower collection
• Cleaned and carefully handled
• Planting instructions included

Pawpaw seeds require cold, moist stratification before germination and should not be allowed to completely dry out. Planting and germination instructions will be included with your order.

Excellent for food forests, orchards, homesteads, native plantings, collectors, and anyone interested in growing pawpaw seedlings with genetics originating from desirable named cultivars.
