There is a very slight chance that I'll be willing to do this again in the fall. The thing is, I can't ship it for free, which is why I have it at $19 per pound, order max of 2 lbs, so it will be just under the $40 threshold. If you add something on so it will go over $40, I will cancel your order unless you message me agreeing to pay for 1/2 of the shipping like I did to a previous customer.

I have done fruit twice. It's expensive to ship, which is why I have this policy, & why I don't mind if nobody else wants to buy this product again.

If you do buy this & you live in a good climate for persimmons, you can save the seeds & plant your own grove!!

To the 1 star review, this site didn't give me the option to say "items" when I created the listing. Only pounds, ounces, grams, etc. So I put down 40 (the count) & grams (the unit). I state at least twice that I count 40 seeds. I went ahead & weighed out 40 seeds, & have put down "12 grams" instead of 40.

Edit 12/7: I made some more for the Christmas Market, but they're not fantastic. They taste good, but they're a bit on the crunchy/done side. Though this item is not from the wild, it's still a great way to grow natural sponges!! I bought a few seeds from Burpee at Menards, then grew 2 lovely loofah gourds that were full of seeds. Now, I would like to share some of these seeds with you!!

I'll weigh out 2 grams or 4 grams, depending on the order.

From these seeds come pawpaws that I fell in love with at 1st bite in 2018 when I moved to Blue Springs, MO!!

Not only do I taste every pawpaw I process, separating the good from the bad, but I save the good seeds and discard the bad, which means these seeds have a higher chance of producing delicious pawpaws!!

I understand that seed germination can be hit or miss. I personally threw out hundreds of seeds in my backyard, yet I only have a couple dozen; which is why I'm quite generous with my pricing. So please, don't shy away from this great growing opportunity!! As of 2026, I actually have more than 2 dozen, they're starting to pop up like weeds. This means that seeds could take WAY longer than a few months to germinate.

April 2026: Wow, I forgot to take down my previous updates. I have a ton of seeds still, in my bucket of moist dirt. I only recommend getting the 10 if you're adding on to an existing order. Otherwise, 40 seeds would be your best bet. I might consider selling bare root pawpaw plants b/c I'm having a lot of them sprout in my back yard, though the shipping will be dicey.
