Three Sisters Homestead

Middlefield, Ohio, US
The name Three sisters was inspired by the fact that I have three daughters, and that I`ve grown corn beans and squash " The three sisters" in my garden for years. My name is Eric btw. My daughters Raina , Ginger, and Ember are teenagers. They grew up helping me process and eat a lot of vegetables and wild food. We are very fortunate to be living on a 20 acre homestead in Mesopotamia OH. It`s a beautiful place and it`s been in the family since 1984. To the best of my knowledge no one has used chemical fertilizer, herbicides or pesticides. our land is a mixture of woods, pasture, garden and hayfield. I first heard about Foraged while listening a podcast on my way to work. I loved the idea and felt inspired to get involved rite away. Between my full time job and many hours spent as caretaker / tenant of the homestead, It`s been difficult for me to find time. Cost of living and property tax increases every year. As a single dad $ runs a bit low sometimes. My daughters are willing to work and have offered to help, they`re excited for any opportunity to earn some money for themselves. I hope by selling on Foraged we can make ends meet a little easer. I hope we`ll be inspired to grow and share more of our wild foods, herbs, garden produce and more.
