healthy boundaries are important and i've noticed that if it's an issue on one level it is often an issue on another level as well.

boundaries is an excellent blend for strengthening mucous membranes throughout the body. it tones, soothes and strengthens the digestive system. it's great for sore throats, aching lungs and nagging coughs. its useful for dry, pale people with weak blood, slow healing and achy joints. *it's my absolute go to for UTIs, acute and recurring.* plus it's pretty handy menstrual support.

many imbalances are best addressed by changing the environment of problem areas. your immune system strongly acts through healthy mucous membranes. thin + weak mucous membranes are susceptible to bacterial imbalance/infection. they're needed to properly protect delicate underlying tissues.

you'll notice this tea has a slightly slippery quality to it. that mucilage pretty quickly becomes a reinforcing medium for mucous membranes. they can figure themselves out pretty well from there. this is a great example of the body being 'deficient in something' that is necessary to perform well. as opposed to 'inherent action being inappropriate' or the space being 'pathogenically attacked' as the root cause of imbalance.
