This dried mushroom came from our woods in the beautiful Laurel Highlands.

I stumbled upon this goldmine of beautiful Chanterelles. So much so, I was able to be picky and only forage the best ones. Chanterelles are some of the most popular edible mushrooms in the world. They're known for their unique flavor and beautiful appearance. When cooked, it has apricot nuances and a slightly peppery punch which pairs well with cream or butter.

Reconstituting: Dried mushrooms can be reconstituted by soaking them in warm water/broth for about 30 minutes or by adding them to a simmering liquid 10-15 minutes before serving. The flavorful soaking liquid can then be retained for a sauce or soup.
