both variations of deep immune support tea have wonderful, top quality ingredients.
all ingredients were wild foraged and flash dried at peak season
except:
-the cordyceps were intentionally grown by a talented friend.
-the slippery elm bark was sustainably farmed

variation 1: a strong tonic
chaga
reishi
turkey tails
cordyceps
this is a wonderful deep immune tonic with strong endurance/vitality support.
i use this blend when someone is failing to thrive, they're exhausted and depleted.
i use this blend when someone does really well on prescription steroids, but are unable to do that regularly for safety reasons.
this is also a great blend to take if you have a special day and need a boost to get going.

this blend is also available as a tincture on my shop that is also called 'deep immune support'
it totally rocks and you can choose from fresh or dried cordyceps
in terms of energy support, a 1/2 cup of the tea is A LOT stronger than a dropper full of tincture.
i think it's cultural for us to think that 'more is more'
but with such quality, precious ingredients: less can be more and more can be too much :)
have a few sips a few times a day. get to know it.
anywhere from 1/2 a cup to 1 cup a day (split into 1-2 servings) is totally reasonable.
it's not unsafe to have more, but the cordyceps may over stimulate you.
you need to sleep well and drink more water than usual please<3
you will feel poorly if you are not very hydrated. this formula does deep work.

variation 2: a deep immune tonic with detox, mineral, lymph + deep moisture support
chaga
reishi
turkey tails
slippery elm bark
mullein leaf
both variations of this formula are often used by people in difficult health situations.
i wanted to offer a variation for some deeper, more complex detox and nutrient/mineral support
if you're feeling dry, creaky, parched- this is a better blend for you.
there are also a lot of serious health situations where it would be more important to rinse through spaces with mullein + slippery elm bark
both readily wash through mucous membranes and lymph, which helps to bring the whole formula into more nuanced spaces.

slippery elm bark makes a nice slippery tea that is full of mucilage, minerals and nutrients to wash through and reset mucous membranes.
it's great for rinsing gritty things out of places they shouldn't be. it's great for resolving things like cysts.
it can help the body to normalize and strengthen spaces.
your cells need ample moisture and mucilage to be clean, strong, balanced and efficient.
i love it for the lungs, the guts, the kidneys-reins-bladder-urinary tract and lymph.
it's *great* for your joints and sinews. it's easily apparent pretty promptly after a dose.

i've used it in migraine regimens and it *rocks* (not for pain relief but for mineral + constitutional support)
i've used it for chronic cramping in athletes and elderly and it ROCKS for this. i could not believe how well and how promptly it helped.
i've used it for certain menstrual situations where there was gripping cramping and deficiency signs- it rocked.
slippery elm has been my 2025 new shining star of a remedy i had never worked with extensively. but we're diving in deep with this one for many years to come.
it's very safe. you do not need it forever. usually 2-3 months of regular tea is more than sufficient to replenish deep moisture reserves.
the mucilage seems to strengthen and cleanse the body as it works through mucous membranes and spaces.
it's a different kind of detox. it's very well tolerated. native americans made it into a gruel for people too weak to eat and digest well.
they don't need my validation, but they were so wonderfully right. it is a blessing that it's been documented.

with everything we're chatting about with slippery elm you may say, 'why add mullein?'
because mullein is like the holy scrub pad of the herb world.
it's a safe and forward cleaning agent that can do a lot comfortably and promptly.

i see people over and over choosing lymphatic herbs like cleavers and violet for cancer support- and they are not wrong.
but they are nauseating at consistent, stiff doses and i do not like to use them this way.
they seem to take about ~5 days to hit that deep lymph level.
you can have a healing crisis on that day 5 if you're not careful.
mullein leaf will guide and support those very quiet, very deep lymph herbs to be more comfortable and well rounded.
(see also easter lily)

mullein leaf tea will hit that lymph level on day one in a more comfortable and well rounded way.
it is perhaps my favorite guide herb.
i've heard incredible stories from using quality mullein leaf tea for cancer and lymph support.
it pairs beautifully with slippery elm for meaningful detox and deep lymph support for this larger formula.
if you're coughing up some gunk or seeing it pass in wastes- normal and good!
if your skin is showing signs of detox through some extra sweat, oil or dirt coming out of pores- normal and good!
keep your body nice and warm. drink a lot of water. eat healthy whole foods. sleep well. stretch and breathe.
this formula is beautiful and does great work. it's very well tolerated.
anywhere from 1/2 a cup - 2 cups a day is great. you can divide that up however you'd like dose wise.
