Mullein is not native to the United States, where it has become naturalized in the wild. It has a lot of folklore surrounding it, but most is false. What is true is that it is used extensively as an herb. This species originates in Europe through Asia, with most of it's diversity located in the Mediterranean. Our selection comes from a wild stand found near Tucson, Arizona on Mount Lemmon. It's extremely drought resistant and grows well in almost any climate. You plant it this year to harvest / see blooms next year.
