Leaves are harvested from first year plants, as we have found this is the best for making tea. Leaves are only harvested from remote areas on our organic ecofarm, away from pollution and chemicals. Leaves are handpicked, then sorted, and any blemished areas removed. They are cleaned and dried, then shredded, all the work is done for you.

Mullien Tea- use 1-2 tsp dried leaves and boil in 1-2 cups of water. Steep for 10 minutes, then filter out tiny hairs. Enjoy warm or cold.

Leaves and flowers are anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antispasmodic, astringent and expectorant.

WARNING- Leaf hairs can be an irritant, be sure to filter out of tea. Contains coumarin, a blood thinner.

At Wild Crow Materia, wildcrafting is rooted in respect—for the land, the seasons, and the ecosystems that sustain it. We forage primarily on our own chemical-free, organically managed land, harvesting with intention and care. With formal training in clinical herbalism and certification through the State Health Department and Department of Agriculture, we are committed to safe, responsible, and sustainable practices. Throughout the year, we offer a wide range of wild mushrooms, including morels, chanterelles, chaga, black trumpets, turkey tail, lobster, reishi, king boletes, lion’s mane, blewits, milk caps, puffballs, oysters, chicken of the woods, and honeys—available fresh, dried, or crafted into tinctures, powders, and teas. We also gather wild nuts such as hickory and walnut, along with seasonal plants including ramps, leeks, elderberry, and a variety of medicinal species. Each offering reflects the place it comes from—seasonal, local, and gathered by hand. If you’re searching for something specific, feel free to reach out. Gathered, not grown.
