Dwarf plants produce densely-packed heads with finely-curled, crinkly, bluish-green leaves. Beat it up with some lemon juice and oil for a delicious fresh salad or cook into soups and other meals. This is a very versatile veggie!

Recommended for growing in Autumn or early Spring. We pluck only the biggest bottom leaves for the first few months, leaving us with 3' tall "palm trees" of kale. We plow under in July and replant new seedlings at the end of July for our Autumn crops. Frost actually makes the leaves sweeter! Very east to grow.
