This listing is for a box of fresh mangoes in mixed varieties. Mangoes are all sourced from South Florida and will begin shipping in mid-May.

BOX WEIGHTS:
Mangoes vary *greatly* in size and shape. Some mangoes can weigh up to 4 lbs EACH! In smaller-size sampler boxes, I try to send smaller varieties so that there is more than one type. My recommendation is always to go for a larger box, when possible for your enjoyment and for cost-effectiveness.

One pound of mangoes is approximately 1 medium + 1-2 small mangoes; or 2-3 medium mangoes; or 3-5 small mangoes.

We recommend cutting mangoes laterally parallel to the slim inner seed. Do this on either side of the seed so that you’re left with two hemispheres and a 1” (or so) slab containing the seed. Cut a grid in each of the hemispheres and pop them outward so that they “bloom” with cubes of mango. The seed slab can stripped of skin and eaten over the sink.

If fresh mangoes are not available at the time of your order, we will contact you with a ship-by date and hold the order until it can be filled.

Fresh and ready to eat or counter-ripen.

On the counter until it smells nice and then in the refrigerator or freezer if you're not ready to consume yet.
