NEVER EAT FIDDLEHEADS RAW. Clean your fiddleheads, soaking in water and removing any papery brown husks. For any preparation, first blanch your fresh fiddleheads for 2 minutes in boiling water. Once blanched, continue on with your desired preparation. Fiddleheads are phenomenal sauteed with your choice of fat until crisp. A treat!
