If you have never had the pleasure of trying this mushroom here is what you can expect.... the giant puffballs have a mild, earthy flavor. When cooked & dehydrated they have a brittle yet fragile feel to them. You can take these guys from the jar and crumble over your salad for instant croutons.
If salads aren't your thing, try rehydrating these bits, dipping them in egg, rolling them in flour, and frying in butter. That is hands down the best way to enjoy the puffballs full flavor.
They will be stored in glass jars until shipped. Once you receive your item I highly recommend putting them back into a glass jar with a tight seal and keeping them out of direct sunlight. This will help to ensure premium taste & texture.
