Kombu Kelp (digitata) is known for tenderizing proteins and supporting healthy digestion. It is also a great source of iron and iodine! Hand harvested from our local harvesters, from the cold pristine water of the the Bay of Fundy. Our harvesters can only harvested this kelp on the lowest tides of the year because it grows so low in the interidal zone! The kelp is attached to the rocky rigid ocean floor, all nutrients purely from the bottom of the sea!
