Mimosa Bark Tincture
Ingredients: Albizia julibrissin (mimosa) bark, 190-proof grain alcohol, water
+/- 50% ABV | 2 OZ
About the Product
Mimosa bark (Albizia julibrissin) has been used for centuries in Traditional Chinese Medicine as a calming, grounding, and spirit-protective herb. Often called the “Tree of Happiness,” its bark is known for its ability to soothe irritability, anchor unsettled emotions, and ease long-standing grief or trauma.
Modern studies suggest that mimosa bark contains saponins and flavonoids that may influence GABAergic and serotonergic activity.
Unlike the flower, mimosa bark is slow, steady, and extremely grounding. It’s the deep support for heartbreak, grief, emotional trauma, and anxious unrest that lingers beneath the surface.
How it’s Made
Freshly harvested mimosa bark is chopped and steeped in a 50% ABV blend of grain alcohol and water for a minimum of six weeks. This extended maceration process ensures full extraction of its active compounds, including its calming triterpenoid saponins and antioxidant-rich polyphenols.
