Another organic balm coming to you straight from the North Woods! This knuckle buster balm was made using a combination of crushed red peppers from my garden, cloves, wild yarrow, and a cold infused sunflower oil. Beeswax was used for a thickener and a bit of raw shea butter as well.
This recipe came about by my own trial and error. Like many who work, or have worked with their hands over the years, arthritis has set in over time. Winters and change of season leave me with sore, swollen joints so I wanted something to help ease that.
The crushed red pepper and cloves both have anti-inflammatory properties while the yarrow brings a bit of soothing relief.
This balm is not a cure all by any means. It was made to simply help relieve swelling and pressure from knuckle joints. If you have a deeper joint pain like elbows, knees, or hips this is NOT the balm for you. The knuckle buster brings relief to joints near the surface by helping to reduce swelling.
Also use a bit of common sense here folks. After use be sure to wash your hands so you don't inadvertently get some of the balm near your eyes.
