Live flowering vine that produces bright white 3-4” blooms and grows up to 30’ high and 3-4’ wide. Grown from organic seeds and started on a soilless seedling medium to make them more resistant to pathogens. Plants come rooted in a mixture of all organic soil, compost, perlite and sand. They've been fed mycorrhizae spores, fish emulsion and phosphorus rich fertilizer for optimal health and should be transplanted as soon as possible to prevent them from becoming root bound.
You will receive a very healthy 10-12 inch potted plant with robust root growth.
The seeds, which are used for healing by indigenous throughout India, Africa, North and South America, are concentrated in lysergic acid. This species is of the same family as Hawaiian Baby Woodrose and Morning Glory.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Transplant permanently into a 20 gallon container if the plant cannot be planted in the ground (ie: in climates where temperatures fall below 40° F, where they must be overwintered indoors or inside a greenhouse). They may be temporarily transplanted into a smaller container of at least 3 gallons in size and potted up as needed. These vines require a trellis, fence, wall or type of support to climb on.
Harden off by slowly increasing their exposure to full day sun, up to 6-8 hours per day. They currently receive mostly morning and afternoon sun…and rarely the extreme midday sun of Southern Alabama (USDA zone 9b) where they're being propagated.
