teasel is an outstanding and life changing remedy for a handful of situations
it's best used as a specific
i strongly considered only releasing this tincture with a consultation, but decided against it.
i consult for free for your safety and benefit.
i strongly recommend sending me a message so we can be on the same page.
dosage really matters with teasel, but i can't give you a good outline for that without knowing your situation.
generally speaking, 5 drop doses once or twice a day is stiff.
it's also commonly taken in pulses with breaks in between.
this is a remedy that will definitely let you know when it's time to take a break or change dosage.
it's not unsafe, but it can be uncomfortable if you don't know how to read the situation.
i like explaining that to people on a case by case basis so you can feel safe and confident
i also think for optimal results, teasel is almost always fantastic and promptly effective in a tiny, intentional regimen.
*this is a low dose remedy and a .5oz bottle is a lot!* please don't waste<3 <3

i use teasel religiously for 3 kinds of situations:
1. spinal injuries / serious injuries
teasel root is strongly neuroprotective and helps your body repair itself on a deep level.
it's a specific for injuries to nerve rich areas. i often pair it with reishi or the hermit blend.
i love to use it with stiff doses of the joint support tincture, which is wonderful for the spine, for injuries and for prompt relief + support.
i sometimes like to use it with st johnswort when the situation is appropriate and there are no medications involved.
st johnswort is a stellar pain + injury remedy. it would also be ideal to do a consultation first to really get the full run down.
i love skull cap for when there are nerve zaps or restless legs. it pairs wonderfully with teasel if there is injury or illness causing the problems.
bone broth is critical here. you can ask a local butcher for some tendons to toss in your soup. very bioavailable. clear results.
teasel is sometimes ia good choice for old injuries in quiet low doses. often with my joint support tincture.

2. lyme
this is a terrible disease. i've had it. i get that it can be awful. it takes a thorough consultation and working together to uproot it.
i'm always glad to help people with chronic lyme. there is a lot we can do. we have to tread carefully to avoid doing too much too fast.
teasel root creates a boundary between pathogens and the deepest inner wirings of the system. dosage can be a big deal here.
i always start slow and conservatively. using teasel for lyme is a modern development for an ancient remedy.
i do not use teasel alone. i like to use st johnswort if there aren't medications in the way.
deep, thorough cleaning and pain support works wonders. no bug want's to live in st johnswort blood.
i like mugwort a lot. it's a complex remedy that's been reliably used for malaria, a close relative to lyme.
it's generally well tolerated and very available. i like sweet annie, another artemisia remedy. i just got some fresh tincture in stock.
i think it's a little bit more warlike than mugwort but not so much as wormwood. it's another good malaria remedy.
i like blue vervain, another complex detox/complex nervine/complex anti-viral/bacterial/fungal.
if the druids used it successfully for the plague, we can use it for lyme. very underutilized low dose remedy.
i like reishi or the hermit as a base remedy for a lyme regimen to deeply mobilize the immune system, manage inflammation and to stay strong.
the hermit is wonderful because it's deep sleep and deep pain support.
i also love skull cap for managing symptoms, but i'm not sure that it works on the root pathogen. i know some people say it does.
this is just a quick rundown of a handful of go-to's for lyme. i would gladly use teasel with any of them.
you really do need to create a minimal + intentional set of remedies depending on your specific presentation.

3. degenerative imbalances
message me if this is something you need support with. it depends a lot of what's going on.
teasel root is strongly neuroprotective. it can get between a pathogen and the body's deepest inner wirings.
we start by seeing how someone responds to creating that boundary and we super nourish them with bone broth,
medicinal mushrooms and antioxidant rich foods like seaweeds. we facilitate deep, productive sleep for deep repairs.
we use nervines to keep the body in parasympathetic mode and to support correct function.
as things evolve we adapt. we would build a small, intentional regimen based on your specific situation.

i also use teasel for a 4th situation that has been explorative;
turning deeper nervous system functions back on after serious trauma
i kept seeing women in particular that had experienced serious traumas (often ptsd level)
and they became severely anemic or develop POTS.
i theorize that because trauma changes the brain and system to tend towards sympathetic excess,
higher functions of the nervous system and general bodily processes are disrupted to rewire the system for immediate survival.
it seems like this 'turns the bones off' and they stop making new blood effectively.
the sympathetic state is very hard on the body and is not 'fuel efficient' metabolically speaking.
it burns through reserves and nutritional reserves.
we need to pair the teasel with nervines like skull cap and medicinal mushroom teas to reverse this inappropriate wiring.
chronic fight or flight mode chemically feeds itself to keep going.
there are deeper body processes that just can't work properly in fight or flight mode.
we can break the chemical cycle with sleep teas and nervines that fit a person's presentation.
then once things start to stabilize, teasel seems to 'turn the bones back on' and reignite the digestive spark if it's been lost.
wood betony is great here. i'd love to start seeing people try teasel + stone root for POTS.
sometimes anemia is constitutional and sometimes it's a nutrition/lifestyle matter.
we can work on it from your specific presentation. inquire within!
