i wanted a blend for the dreaded grouchy afternoon low point, and i wanted it to be perfect.
it took me almost two years to get it just right.
not only is this blend outstanding for your 3pm slump- but it’s also strongly anti inflammatory, making it a great option for chronic aches and pains.
i started with a nilgiri orange pekoe black tea, a steady all purpose base.
safflower and helichrysum take down inflammation and get the blood flowing.
ashwagandha root and holy basil krishna are classic adaptogenic herbs that
strengthen your system and help it find a deeper sense of balance than it typically maintains on its own.
a pinch of hyssop to finish it off ended up making all the difference.
it’s one of the more pungent mints and can penetrate deep into the system.
it opens, cleans and regulates pathways.
in this case it acts as a kind of guide herb that opens deeper systems to the formula’s influence.
my favorite part is that boost morale just tastes like a regular cup of black tea!

it’s an herbal tea that’s both uplifting and calming, arriving at a happy middle ground.
many unpleasant symptoms can arise from a lack of centeredness,
this blend helps to reclaim peace and order. unroasted rooibos is green, mellow and nutritive.
kukicha is the twigs of the tea plant. they contain little caffeine, if any, and have a nice round flavor.
it pairs well with hawthorn leaf + flower, a classic herb for heart health, emotional balance and quiet mind.
lemon balm and eucalyptus are cheerful and soothing. lemon peel ties it all together nicely.
