**IF YOU HAVE NOT HAD CHICKEN OF THE WOODS BEFORE IT IS RECOMMENDED TO ONLY HAVE A SMALL AMOUNT TO START BECAUSE THEY DO NOT AGREE WITH EVERYONE. CHICKEN OF THE WOODS ARE SAFE TO EAT WHEN COOKED PROPERLY BUT CAN CAUSE DIGESTIVE ISSUES WHEN THEY ARE EATEN RAW OR UNDERCOOKED.
