Elevate your culinary creations and promote well-being with our wild-foraged organic dried maitake mushrooms. As a vegan delicacy, these mushrooms offer an earthy and rich umami taste combined with a meaty yet tender texture. When dried, their flavor intensifies, providing a concentrated burst of savory that will enrich soups, stir-fries, sauces, risottos and pasta dishes. These mushrooms are particularly rich in B vitamins* which support energy production and the health of nerves, skin and connective tissue. Get creative and explore the diverse culinary possibilities of dried maitake mushrooms.
All of our mushrooms are stainably wild-foraged by me in Northeast Pennsylvania, USA. We forage only in remote areas, far from pollution and chemicals to bring you the most organic, freshest and chemical free foods that we eat ourselves. The Maitake is then rinsed to remove any bugs or debris, then dehydrated and immediately packaged to ensure the freshest mushrooms for you. Easily rehydrates or ready to be ground into powder for functional uses or additives to soups and sauces. Foraged October 2023.

At Wild Crow Materia, wildcrafting is rooted in respect—for the land, the seasons, and the ecosystems that sustain it.
We forage primarily on our own chemical-free, organically managed land, harvesting with intention and care. With formal training in clinical herbalism and certification through the State Health Department and Department of Agriculture, we are committed to safe, responsible, and sustainable practices.
Throughout the year, we offer a wide range of wild mushrooms, including morels, chanterelles, chaga, black trumpets, turkey tail, lobster, reishi, king boletes, lion’s mane, blewits, milk caps, puffballs, oysters, chicken of the woods, and honeys—available fresh, dried, or crafted into tinctures, powders, and teas.
We also gather wild nuts such as hickory and walnut, along with seasonal plants including ramps, leeks, elderberry, and a variety of medicinal species.
Each offering reflects the place it comes from—seasonal, local, and gathered by hand.
