🌿 SPRING RAMP SALT | LIMITED HARVEST

Wildcrafted in Northeast Pennsylvania

Our ramp salt captures the brief, vibrant moment of early spring—when the forest wakes and wild ramps emerge for only a short time each year.

We practice sustainable foraging, harvesting only from abundant, well-established patches. Rather than removing the entire plant, we selectively gather ramp leaves only, allowing the bulbs to remain and regenerate naturally.

Wild-foraged
Sustainably harvested (leaves only)
Small batch crafted
No additives or fillers
Seasonal availability

Each batch is hand-foraged by us in clean, remote areas of Northeast Pennsylvania, far from roads and pollution. The leaves are cleaned and dried the same day, preserving their fresh, green, garlicky character.

Blended with mineral-rich Himalayan salt, this finishing salt delivers a deep, savory flavor with a bright, wild edge that elevates even the simplest dishes.

Flavor Profile

Fresh, earthy, and garlicky—more delicate and complex than traditional garlic salt.

At Wild Crow Materia, wildcrafting is rooted in respect—for the land, the seasons, and the ecosystems that sustain it. We forage primarily on our own chemical-free, organically managed land, harvesting with intention and care. With formal training in clinical herbalism and certification through the State Health Department and Department of Agriculture, we are committed to safe, responsible, and sustainable practices. Throughout the year, we offer a wide range of wild mushrooms, including morels, chanterelles, chaga, black trumpets, turkey tail, lobster, reishi, king boletes, lion’s mane, blewits, milk caps, puffballs, oysters, chicken of the woods, and honeys—available fresh, dried, or crafted into tinctures, powders, and teas. We also gather wild nuts such as hickory and walnut, along with seasonal plants including ramps, leeks, elderberry, and a variety of medicinal species. Each offering reflects the place it comes from—seasonal, local, and gathered by hand. If you’re searching for something specific, feel free to reach out. Gathered, not grown.
