Dominant species of flower in our area include Basswood, Box Elder, Elderberry, Vetch, Clover, Ragweed, Goldenrod, Maple (we taste a lot of maple in this honey) Thistle, Oak, Elm, Catmint, Sumac and Dandelion.

Honey is a shelf stable product and does not need to be refrigerated. Raw honey will crystalize over time. Using a warm water bath will help melt crystalized honey. Warm water to a a low simmer about 90-95 degrees (DON'T BOIL), take it off the heat and place your container in the water.

A teaspoon or table spoon each morning for your enjoyment! Melt it in your tea or coffee, drizzle on your toast, oatmeal, PB and Honey, use it to replace sugar when baking and so much more!
