A beautiful mushroom packed with flavor, the best way to use this mushroom (like most boletes) is dried. Drying greatly enhances/concentrates the flavor which adds a ton of umami to dishes. Use them in soups, sauces, gravies or make a stock with them! You really can't go wrong with these user-friendly mushrooms. Treat them as you would any bolete that you may be familiar with.
Our Premium Dried Yellow Boletes are hand selected from only the finest wild specimens. This means minimal to no bug damage, young and firm mushrooms! These are all mushrooms that we would personally (and do) consume ourselves! Once harvest, these boletes are promptly cleaned and trimmed as necessary, sliced, dried, and packaged in a sealed, re-closable package along with a desiccant for maximum freshness.
