At Waspfriend Farms all of our hives are chemical treatment-free and our bees have a wide variety of wild plants, flowers, and trees to visit for nectar and pollen. Because of our unique mixed grass prairie ecosystem, our bees generally do not experience a dearth (lack of nectar) until the natural end of their season at the end of fall. This means that any honey we take from the bees is excess and they are always left with an abundance to thrive on through our long winters. We are located near a large river with multiple springs and outlets, so our bees always have access to fresh water.

Our spring honey is thick and luxurious, with a full-bodied floral honey flavor. For a lighter, more delicate flavor profile, try our summer honey!

This product arrives in a labeled reusable glass skep jar. Shaped like a tiny old-fashioned hive this jar is perfect as a gift for you or anyone else you tolerate ♡

Store in a cool dry place. If your honey begins to crystalize or solidify, simply place in hot water to bring it back to liquid form. Crystalized honey doesn't mean it has spoiled & is just the natural sugars solidifying. Some people even prefer crystalized honey because it is easier to spread!

Use it for anything! Baking, sweetening drinks, soap making, beauty products, mixing into a granola or cereal bar, bagels & toast, fruit dips, and for enjoying straight on your spoon!

Remember, never give honey to infants under 12 months of age!
