Our Story
All of our aloe vera plants originate from one Barbadensis aloe vera, Grandma. Grandma is 25 years old and still growing and producing pups (tiny aloes) and flowers for the hummingbirds to enjoy. But her fully grown pups, ages 15-20 years old, are now taking over her job. All our aloes are fed a special healthy, organic food that increases their sugar content. Thus, their purpose is for eating.

If you are able to drive to the Long Beach nursery location, every 2nd Saturday from 9am to 11am, we will sell fresh aloe leaves, a few small aloe vera plants and our new skin salve product. Please message me to be added on an email list regarding location and monthly in-person sales updates.

Fall time recipe! Rinse the yellow sap off the meat after removing the skin. Chop up the aloe meat. Puree in a blender the aloe meat with slices of pear or a 2 TBSP of pumpkin puree. Pure into a large bowl, add a packet of plain, flavorless gelatin powder. Mix. Pure mixture into cups and refrigerate to set for several hours. Top with your favorite fruit jam or local honey. Serve chilled.

Our skin salve is a product of the oldest leaves from our heirloom plants. We must remove the oldest leaves to maintain the health of our plants. This is our effort towards zero-waste farming.
