Our Heirloom Aloe Vera Salve is an emollient and moisturizing skin salve, which can be used on hair. Apply our salve before bedtime. Our salve is made with our heirloom aloe vera meat and gel (plants grown in CA), fractionated coconut oil (made in WA), and 100% beeswax (from CA bees). Our quantities change frequently because we produce our salve in a home kitchen in batches every month. USPS shipping cost is included in the price.

Barbadensis aloe vera plants originated from the dry regions of our world. Fram Heirloom Aloe Vera plants originate from "Grandma", a 24-year-old aloe from Arizona. Grandma was just 4 inches tall when I brought her home. She is still thriving, producing, and flowering in the nursery, even with her massive size. Her older 3-foot tall pups are producing our products now. Fram Heirloom Aloe Vera plants have been grown with love to produce a higher sugar content than most aloes used in edible aloe products. This store sells the large leaves and a Heirloom Aloe Vera Salve for your skin. We are striving to practice zero-waste farming. We take the oldest leaves that must be removed for the health of the plants and we produce our skin salve from them.

Fram Heirloom Aloe Vera leaves develop from a 24-year cultivation process to increase the sugar content of the gel inside the leaves. The flavor of the gel in the leaves is a cross between refreshing spring water and water with a hint of sugar. The leaves are cut to about 12 inches long and wrapped in plastic to protect them. Ice packs are included to keep the gel and meat at a cooler temperature. Upon receiving your leaf, put the leaf in the refrigerator until use to keep it cooler than room temperature. Our stock quantity changes because these precious plants take time to grow the leaves. The good thing is these amazing plants always will grow more leaves! Review the Fall 2025 photos & video of our aloes. Included is a Fall 2025 photo of Grandma, the mother/grandmother of all the aloes in our nursery! Grandma is still alive, growing, producing pups and flowers.
