Ingredients
- 3 cups of fresh porcini mushrooms, sliced
- 9 lasagna noodles, cooked
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups marinara sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Preparation:

Step 1 - Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2 - Sauté Onions, Garlic, Mushrooms, Salt and Pepper

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onions and garlic until translucent. Add porcini mushrooms, season with salt and pepper, and cook until tender.

Step 3 - Mix Cheeses, Egg, Salt and Pepper

In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

Step 4 - Assemble Lasagne

Spread a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish. Place a layer of lasagna noodles over the sauce. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles. Add half of the sautéed mushrooms and a layer of mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers, finishing with a layer of noodles, sauce, and mozzarella cheese.

Step 5 - Bake Lasagne

Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.

Step 6 - Cool and Garnish

Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil.
